The BankPark YOKOHAMA group, consisting of Takenaka Corporation (President: Masato Sasaki), CRAFTINGJAPAN (President: Kazuya Nagae), and Goodroom (President: Hiroyuki Ogura), will celebrate the grand opening of cultural exchange hub BankPark YOKOHAMA on October 4 (Saturday) at 11:00 AM. This facility utilizes the former First Bank of Japan Yokohama Branch, a historic building certified by Yokohama City.

The facility consists of the store "CRAFT." operated by CRAFTINGJAPAN on the 1st floor, and "goodroom lounge Yokohama Bashamichi" operated by Goodroom on basement level 1 and floors 2-3, which opened in advance on July 31 this year. The iconic balcony will serve as a gallery space for various art and craft exhibitions.

CRAFT.

A space that brings together craft works from around the world, featuring a gallery and library, along with a dining restaurant offering carefully selected food and beverages from across Japan. The facility also includes a flower shop, serving as a hub for disseminating culture, art, and tourism.

The shop name "Ludique" means "playful" in French. This shop cherishes seasonal colors and fragrances, adding a playful essence to propose flowers that make everyday life richer and more colorful.

goodroom lounge Yokohama Bashamichi features a touchdown space on B1F, workspaces including private rooms and meeting rooms on floors 2-3, and a lounge on the 3rd floor that promotes new exchange and co-creation. The facility offers flexible work styles ranging from monthly plans that allow use of nationwide locations to smart drop-in access via facial recognition.

BankPark Yokohama Opening Memorial - From Yokohama to the World: The Voyage of Old Noritake

Date/Location: October 4 (Saturday) - October 19 (Sunday), 2025 / CRAFT. Table

Commemorating the grand opening, the CRAFT. gallery space will feature an exhibition and sale of Old Noritake, which first crossed the sea from Yokohama Port during the Meiji era carrying Japanese craftsmanship and beauty, gaining popularity in Europe and America. The event will also include talk events (10 sessions total) by Tomoaki Takeuchi, an Old Noritake researcher and leading Japanese collector.

Yokohama Kitanaka Festival 2025

Date: October 18 (Saturday) - October 19 (Sunday), 2025

The facility will participate in this regional event where various facilities in the Kitanaka district, where the building is located, organize diverse programs.

A participatory craft event where visitors can enjoy craftsmanship and culture up close, featuring demonstrations by artisans and workshops themed around "fabric." On October 31 (Friday), CRAFT. Table will offer a special one-night-only course menu in conjunction with the event.
