◆Ehime – Food & Nightlife
In Matsuyama, the nightlife stretches from Okaido to Nibancho, one of Shikoku's liveliest areas, with countless izakayas and bars. Tai-meshi (sea bream rice) and jakoten (fried fish cake) are local favorites to enjoy with sake or shochu. Gintengai is also popular among younger crowds for its casual pubs.
In Imabari, yakitori culture thrives, with many taverns clustered near the station. In Uwajima and Yawatahama, portside izakayas highlight the region's fresh seafood. Around Dogo Onsen, pubs and bars welcome visitors for a relaxing drink after a bath.
Some places may not speak English, but with a local guide you can relax and enjoy. We will also check if bar hopping is possible in your preferred area, so please feel free to book.
