In Tokushima City, Akitamachi is the prefecture's largest nightlife district, filled with izakayas, bars, and snack lounges. Local favorites include Awa-odori chicken and Naruto sea bream paired with sake. The Ryogokubashi area also stays lively late into the night and is easy for visitors to enjoy.

In coastal towns like Naruto and Anan, seafood izakayas are popular, while inland towns such as Mima and Wakimachi offer cozy taverns for locals. During the Awa Odori festival, Tokushima transforms into a vibrant stage for unforgettable nightlife.
