◆Yamagata – Food & Nightlife

In Yamagata City, Nanokamachi is the prefecture's top nightlife district, lined with izakayas and bars serving regional specialties like imoni stew and Yamagata beef. Around the station, casual pubs welcome visitors for easy entry.

On the Shonai coast, towns like Tsuruoka and Sakata feature seafood izakayas with excellent sake. In Yonezawa, pubs highlight Yonezawa beef dishes, pairing perfectly with local brews. Hot spring towns such as Kaminoyama and Ginzan also feature izakayas ideal for post-bath drinks.

Some places may not speak English, but with a local guide you can relax and enjoy. In certain areas, bars may be limited, so we will check if bar hopping is possible. Please feel free to book.
