Chaos Zero Nightmare received a major update on May 27 (Wednesday), adding Season 3 Chapter 2, a new ★5 fighter, and several new battle content modes.
Season 3 Chapter 2 Opens — "A Girl's Nightmare"
Season 3 "A Song Echoing Through the Galaxy" continues with Chapter 2, titled "A Girl's Nightmare." The story follows a series of mysterious incidents aboard the Edinity as the secrets surrounding the new fighter Adelheit gradually come to light.
New ★5 Fighter Adelheit & New Partner Clara
Adelheit joins as a defense-focused Vanguard-class fighter of the Void attribute. She can grant "Blessing" to allied cards to gain shields.
The simultaneously added partner Clara increases the assigned fighter's defense, and provides fixed healing whenever the assigned fighter uses a Blessed card.
Grand Rift Front Half & Raid Battle Season 2 Begin
The front-half content of Grand Rift is now open, along with the Secondary Supply Shop, where players can earn various rewards including the Omega Code.
Grand Rift has also lifted its restriction that limited players to save data from the current season — save data selection is now greatly expanded. Using season save data also makes it possible to earn bonus scores.
Raid Battle Season 2 has also kicked off, challenging players to assemble three teams and take down bosses. Placing fighters according to each boss's traits is key, and clearing content yields crystals and growth resources.
Limited-Time Events Running Through June
Two events where players defeat monsters alongside Adelheit to earn resources and crystals are live through June 17. An additional "Sortie Mission Support" event, offering bonus rewards for playing Sortie, runs through June 22.
System Improvements
- The roguelike mode Sortie now features strengthened special effects on selected fighters, enabling more strategic gameplay
- Auto-battle has been added to Chaos Play
- A new core has been implemented that allows editing equipment on already-obtained save data
