The mobile RPG Lineage2M received its "REQUIEM: Sword Dance Commanding the Battlefield" update during scheduled maintenance on May 27, 2026 (Wednesday). The update brings a major Class Reboot for Dual Wield, the new weekly PvE content Mimir's Laboratory, a new Mythic-grade class skin, and more.

Class Reboot: Dual Wield
The Class Reboot: Dual Wield overhaul converts previously active skills to passive ones, allowing players to push through the battlefield with more momentum.
Several skills have been rebooted and renamed:
- The superior-grade skill Sonic Slash, rare-grade Double Slash, and hero-grade Triple Slash have been rebooted, with Double Slash renamed to Spin Slash (rare grade) and Triple Slash renamed to Laser Slash (hero grade).
- Now passive, these skills trigger in response to normal attacks and deal damage even in situations where active skill use is restricted.
Party buff skills have also been reworked:
- Rare-grade Dance of Warrior, hero-grade Dance of Fury, and legendary-grade Dance of Might have all been rebooted.
- Dance of Fury and Dance of Might now function as passive upgrades to Dance of Warrior, eliminating the need to activate buffs manually. The buff effect can stack up to three times and activates on successful attacks.
Additionally, a FREE Class Change event is running across all worlds from after maintenance on May 27, 2026 (Wednesday) through before maintenance on June 10, 2026 (Wednesday). Players can use a dedicated item acquired with Adena to change their class. In Origin World, characters at level 60 or above can use this once per account; in Reserve World, characters at level 40 or above can use it twice per account.
New Content: Mimir's Laboratory
Mimir's Laboratory is a new weekly PvE content where players cooperate to defeat a boss monster within a time limit.
- Open to characters at level 70 or above.
- Raid parties of 1 to 8 players can be formed via a dedicated recruitment system.
- Failed attempts can be retried as many times as needed.
- Two difficulty modes are available: Normal (focused on boss defeat only) and Challenge (with additional mechanics). Challenge mode offers better rewards than Normal.
- The content uses an 8-week season pass format. This season's top reward includes the new rare-grade mount Royal Bloom Rex.
First Mythic-Grade Class Skin: True Death Knight
Lineage2M is also introducing its first Mythic-grade class skin, True Death Knight, which comes with two exclusive skills:
- True Death Knight Cursed Force
- True Death Knight Ignition: On hit, this skill has a chance to deal powerful damage and inflict debuffs that increase damage taken and reduce Defense Power on the target. If the target's HP falls below a certain threshold, it can also apply a debuff preventing the use of Return/Teleport.
In addition, two legendary-grade, three hero-grade, two rare-grade, and one superior-grade class skins have been added.
[Reserve World] New Awakening "Nevit" and Updated Server Invasion War Schedule
Update timing: During scheduled maintenance on May 27, 2026 (Wednesday)
The Reserve World also received updates, with the addition of the new awakening Nevit and a revised Server Invasion War schedule.
- Awakening Nevit allows players to raise its level using awakening points, boosting stats such as Hit and Defense Power.
- The Server Invasion War now takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The boss monster appearing in the event has also been changed to Tyrant.
