Finnish lifestyle brand Arabia will release new items from two collections on Wednesday, October 14, 2026: "24h Tuokio," tableware for everyday meals, and "Kirnu," an interior collection inspired by Finnish nature. The releases arrive as autumn deepens and people spend more time at home.
The two collections take different approaches to everyday living. 24h Tuokio has been a familiar presence since it first appeared in 2011, while Kirnu, introduced in 2025, is known for organic forms drawn from natural shapes. The new lineup covers items for the dining table and for interior display.
New Items Join the Everyday 24h Tuokio Tableware
The 24h series, which reaches its 30th anniversary in 2026, is a tableware series designed by Finnish designer Heikki Orvola. Built on the concept of being usable for 24 hours a day, from morning to night, it features clean lines, careful details, and simple yet warm forms, and has long been a fixture on dining tables.
24h Tuokio, launched in 2011, is based on the shape of the 24h series. "Tuokio" is the Finnish word for "moment," and the collection features a hand-drawn-style blue pattern that evokes each precious moment.
The new additions include a larger Mug 0.4 L and a smaller Bowl 9 cm. The Bowl 0.3 L will come in three colors: blue, beige, and red. An Oval Plate that was found in Arabia's archives and had never been released is also joining the lineup.
The Oval Plate can be used for a single serving of a main dish or as a serving plate for sharing. The Bowl 9 cm suits sauces and spices, while the Bowl 0.3 L works for rice or soup, making them useful in many everyday dining scenes.
Kirnu Adds Decorative and Practical New Items
Kirnu, which debuted in autumn 2025, is an interior collection inspired by Nordic nature. Its name comes from the Finnish word "Kirnu," meaning a pothole: a circular hollow formed in bedrock by natural forces over many years. The collection features forms that combine curves and straight lines, reminiscent of this natural landform.
The glaze on the ceramic surfaces draws on techniques Arabia has developed over many years, and each piece is finished by hand. Combining matte and glossy textures creates rich color gradients on the surface, so every piece has its own look.
The new lineup includes the Treasure Jar 11 x 10 cm and the Decorative Bowl 16 cm in blue, along with the Decorative Tray 20 cm in brown. The Decorative Bowl can hold fruit or sweets, and the Treasure Jar can store jewelry or everyday items. Beyond serving as interior objects, the pieces are practical for daily use, combining decorative appeal with function.
