ARC'TERYX WOMEN'S CLIMBING NIGHT, a women-only climbing event organized by outdoor brand Arc'teryx, is making its Kansai debut. The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026, at D Bouldering Plus Lead Namba in Osaka.
Arc'teryx, founded in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1989, has been working to build a climbing community connecting people through the sport that lies at the brand's roots. At its Osaka Shinsaibashi brand store, it has been co-hosting monthly "Climbing Challenge" events at D Bouldering Plus Lead Namba since last year, welcoming everyone from beginners to experienced climbers.
The event was conceived in response to feedback from women who were interested in climbing but hesitant to start on their own, or who were looking for a women-only opportunity. ARC'TERYX WOMEN'S CLIMBING NIGHT has previously been held in the Kanto area, where it attracted many female climbers and beginners alike. This June marks the first time the event comes to Kansai.

A women-only event offering new challenges and community connections through climbing. Activities include a beginner climbing clinic, a hands-on harness experience with Arc'teryx's original climbing harnesses, and community programming designed to help participants connect with one another naturally.

- Admission: Free
- Eligibility: Women only, junior high school age and above
- Participation Requirement: Register with Arc'teryx's official LINE account to gain access to the event
- The venue will be reserved exclusively for women on the day of the event
- Participants in high school or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
Activities
① FREE CLIMB: After registering with the Arc'teryx official LINE account, enjoy free use of the climbing facility.
② Harness Experience: A beginner-oriented clinic led by a guest instructor (advance registration required)
- Bouldering session: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
- Top rope session: 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM
③ Raffle: Wearing an Arc'teryx harness, take on a top rope or lead climbing route. Have a photo taken while climbing and show it at the booth to enter the raffle draw.

About D Bouldering Plus Lead Namba
One of the largest climbing gyms in Kansai, the facility spans approximately 1,408 square meters with a wide variety of walls and routes for everyone from first-timers to top-level climbers. It supports both top rope and lead climbing, and regularly holds beginner courses to help newcomers get into the sport.
