ARIAFINA LABORATORY, a space for thinking about the future of kitchens together, opened on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, inside AXIS, the design hub in Roppongi, Tokyo. AXIS is a commercial complex operated by AXIS Inc., a company that promotes design. The new space is operated by Ariafina Co., Ltd., which runs the kitchen appliance brand ARIAFINA.
ARIAFINA LABORATORY is a new base set up to experience and test new value in the kitchen space and to think together about the way we will live in the future. To mark the opening, an actual unit and prototype of a next-generation induction cooktop, planned for release in March 2027, are being shown to the public for the first time. The space is intended as an open place to test an ideal cooking and living space with appliances as a whole, not just range hoods.

ARIAFINA LABORATORY is a place that nurtures a culture that enriches daily life, starting from the kitchen. It is a "co-creation laboratory" that combines European design rooted in Italy with new proposals for life in Japan, in order to find hints for future homes and food culture.
Beyond simply encountering products, visitors can touch, operate, taste and talk, exploring the possibilities of future kitchen spaces and ways of living.
Four Exhibition and Space Areas for Different Needs
The facility is made up of four exhibition and space areas, divided by purpose and type of experience.
Design Discovery Zone (Main Exhibition Space)
Island and I-shaped kitchens are fitted with appliances that reflect European trends, creating a zone where visitors can experience an ideal kitchen space.
Main Meeting Space
The main meeting space, where visitors can discuss and consider specific kitchen plans with actual equipment and material samples in front of them.
ARIACHEFPRO Professional Zone
A hotel-like testing area with commercial equipment and a movable stove. Through cooking experiments and tastings, professionals can check operability and functionality.
Innovation Room
A laboratory-like meeting space that holds the DNA of ARIAFINA. It is an invitation-only space where new product development, special order proposals (Special Order) and material research are carried out closely.
