BAGUS, the amusement facility chain operated by Diamond Dining Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Atsuhisa Matsumura), a consolidated subsidiary of DD Group Co., Ltd., is holding a "Kids Billiards Campaign" from Tuesday, July 21 to Sunday, September 13, 2026.
During the campaign, children in middle school or younger who are accompanied by a guardian can play billiards free of charge for up to two hours. As an indoor activity that stays comfortable on hot or rainy days, it offers families a way to build summer memories together, with the added bonus of inspiration for a summer research project.
Summer Play That Becomes Learning
The campaign is held every summer with the goal of introducing more children to the fun and depth of billiards. As a casual indoor activity families can enjoy together, it gives children trying billiards for the first time an easy way to get started.
Every BAGUS location keeps "kids cues" on hand, sized to match a child's height, so even young children or first-time players can hold a cue comfortably and enjoy the game with confidence.

Cues of different lengths are available for kids, matched to their height

Billiards is a sport that involves thinking about a ball's trajectory, angle of reflection, and the right amount of force. Beyond touching on elements connected to science and math, aiming and taking a shot also builds concentration, spatial awareness, and the ability to think ahead. Learning that grows naturally out of play makes it a great starting point for a summer research project or hands-on learning experience.

Billiards is also a game that people of any age or experience level can enjoy together, which is part of its appeal. Gathering around the same table as a family and chatting while playing becomes part of the memories made over summer break.
As an indoor activity that stays comfortable on hot or rainy days, and one that lets play and learning go hand in hand, BAGUS invites families to visit together this summer.
BAGUS plans to continue offering new experiences and opportunities to connect through billiards, sharing its appeal with the next generation.

Before the Kids Billiards Campaign, Try "Experience Billiards!" — A Billiards Event for Parents and Kids to Learn Together
Ahead of the Kids Billiards Campaign, BAGUS is holding "Experience Billiards!" (informally known as "Ekuperi"), a billiards event for parents and children, in Shibuya on July 20, known as "Billiards Day."
Now in its sixth installment, "Ekuperi" has drawn a growing number of families with each edition and has been well received every time.
Through lessons from professional instructors, parents and children can learn the basics and enjoyment of billiards together, and children picking up a cue for the first time can join with confidence. Taking on a new challenge together as a family can lead to new discoveries and summer memories.
After experiencing the fun of billiards at "Ekuperi," families are invited to enjoy it once more at the Kids Billiards Campaign, which begins July 21.
