BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Reveals 9.5th Anniversary Campaigns, Roselia x ALI PROJECT Collaboration, and Girls Band Election Results

During episode #330 of "BanG Dream! Highlights include illustrations and campaigns marking the game's 9.5th anniversary, a new Dream & Kirameki Festival Gacha, an artist collaboration between Roselia and ALI PROJECT, the announcement of the 8th Garupa Cup, the results of the 6th Girls Band Election, and details on a new 10th anniversary exhibition tour.

9.5th Anniversary Illustration Revealed

To celebrate the game's 9.5th anniversary, a commemorative illustration of Kasumi Toyama has been released.

9.5th Anniversary Update

A major update will roll out on September 10, 2026 (Thursday) at 6:00 PM (JST).

1. New Friend Gift Feature

A new "Gift" feature lets friends send each other items. After clearing a live show, players automatically send a gift to every friend, up to three times per day. Gifts can be collected from a new dedicated page added to the home screen and contain one randomly selected item, such as coins, shards, or a sewing kit. Gift bags are visually marked by rarity (Normal, Silver, or Gold) and must be claimed within 24 hours.

2. Higher Live Boost Cap and New "Max Consumption" Feature

The maximum number of Live Boosts a player can hold has been raised significantly, from 10 to 25. In addition, the "Consume All Live Boosts" feature — previously usable only once per day — has been renewed as "Max Consumption," which can now be used up to twice per day.

3. Adjustments to Some Song Level Ratings

Song Level Display Adjustments

To better reflect actual play feel and difficulty balance, the level ratings for some songs have been revised. Only the numeric level display is changing — note positions and scoring remain unaffected, and all previously earned high scores and clear records will carry over as-is.

4. Other Updates

  • New banter dialogue added between band members
  • Expanded favorite stamp slots
  • A left/right switch added to the member detail screen

...and more.

Performed by: Roselia

Lyrics: Arika Takarano

Composition: Mikiya Katakura

Arrangement: Mikiya Katakura

Comment from ALI PROJECT / Arika Takarano:

To all Bandreamers and Roselia fans, it would be an honor if you enjoy "Kono Aoki Yami to Hikari," the song ALI PROJECT wrote especially for Roselia.

We tried to capture the strength and intensity these members carry, together with the fragility and precariousness hidden just beneath the surface, all within a single song.

The finished performance and vocals blend together beautifully while still bringing out one another's brilliance — a striking contrast of darkness and light whose brilliance left us in awe.

We are so grateful it was brought to life this wonderfully.

I believe it will resonate deeply in the hearts of fans as well.

From the very depths of the darkness, I will be quietly cheering you on.

— ALI PROJECT / Arika Takarano
