The upcoming game Morpho Reverie, from Formirai Co., Ltd., has released its first trailer. Alongside the trailer, an overview of the game and details on its main characters — protagonist Rein (CV: Aoi Ichikawa for the male version, Shion Wakayama for the female version) and Keeva (CV: Madoka Yonezawa) — have also gone live the same day on the official website and Steam store page. A demo is planned to launch on Steam in fall 2026.
A Multi-Ending Rhythm Adventure Shaped by Performance and Choice
Morpho Reverie is a music adventure game built around a main story that runs to more than 300,000 characters of text. By blending cinematic staging, voiced story scenes, and rhythm game segments, it delivers a distinctive experience in which narrative and music become one.
Players take on the role of composer Rein, searching for their kindred soul Keeva, who has gone missing under mysterious circumstances after being caught up in an incident. On the journey to find Keeva, Rein meets a wide range of performers, supporting their music while closing in on the truth behind Keeva's disappearance. The game offers five main endings plus multiple branching endings, and the choices and performances players make send the story down dramatically different paths, each arriving at its own striking conclusion.

Character Designer Gawako Reveals the Main Cast
The main character designs and key visual for Morpho Reverie are handled by popular illustrator Gawako. The following main characters have been revealed so far.
Rein: Male Version (CV: Aoi Ichikawa) — the game lets players choose the protagonist's gender.

Rein: Female Version (CV: Shion Wakayama)

Keeva (CV: Madoka Yonezawa)

More than 10 additional cast members of varying genders, ages, occupations, and positions are planned to appear. Some will oppose protagonist Rein while others become allies, but each has a distinct personality and a deep connection to music.
A Lineup of Acclaimed Composers Set to Join
A fictional instrument called the レゾピアノ symbolizes the world of Morpho Reverie. Beyond producing piano-like tones, it can generate the sounds of a wide range of other instruments depending on the performer's imagination.
The game's music is centered on an artcore sound, built around the piano and combined with a wide variety of other instruments to create a distinctive style where multiple musical elements intersect.

The main story features more than 20 original tracks written specifically for it, from composers including ARForest, love solfege, onoken, Osamu Kubota, and かねこちはる. The music game mode also includes licensed tracks from notable composers such as BlackY.
Additional participating composers will continue to be announced. More updates are expected.
