BIBLIOPHILIC Unveils Handcrafted Acrylic Book Charms at Bungu Joshi Expo Tokyo 2026

Reading accessories brand BIBLIOPHILIC is set to debut its new accessory, the "HANDCRAFT BOOK CHARM," at the Bungu Joshi Expo Tokyo 2026, which opens on June 10, 2026. The first day of the event marks the start of advance sales for the new product.

The HANDCRAFT BOOK CHARM is an acrylic book charm crafted through a process in which laser processing creates delicate surface texture, artisans then hand-apply color into each engraved groove, and the surface is finished with a final polish. Unlike standard UV printing, the design is carved into the material before color is added, making it more resistant to friction and wear — suitable for everyday use even inside a bag.

Features

Artisan Finishing with Depth

Colors are hand-applied into the laser-carved texture by craftspeople, then polished to create a distinctive three-dimensional finish.

Wear-Resistant Design

Because color is embedded into engraved grooves rather than printed on top, the design holds up better against friction compared to standard UV printing.

Made from Acrylic Offcuts

The charms use acrylic material left over from manufacturing. Each piece carries its own natural variation in color and pattern.

The HANDCRAFT BOOK CHARM launches with 12 designs across five themes.
