Share CAFE Harakado in Harajuku, Tokyo is hosting a collaboration cafe with Bonobono — marking the manga's 40th anniversary of serialization and the anime's 10th anniversary of broadcast this year — produced by Anique Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takahide Kasai).
"Now then — kids who leave their tasty matcha and age-pan unfinished are going to get put away, put away..."
As a collaboration cafe for fans to enjoy the world of Bonobono, Share CAFE — a specialty cafe for matcha and age-pan (Japanese fried bread) — is opening the limited-time "BONO BONO - shiMATCHAcafe -". The Putaway Man, a familiar character from the series, is taking over Share CAFE! Rich matcha drinks, crispy age-pan, and other carefully crafted menu items will be served with a Bonobono theme. Be careful not to leave your food unfinished — you might get put away.
New merchandise featuring original illustrations will also be available, including Bonobono desperately trying to finish his age-pan so he won't be put away, along with his forest friends each enjoying the collaboration food and drinks. Sales begin on the event's opening day at both Share CAFE Harakado and the online shop Anique Shop.
Details of the collaboration menu and merchandise lineup will be announced on the special website and Anique's official X account (@anique_jp).
