Award-Winning Gourmet Burger Shop BRISK STAND Opens First Airport Location at Haneda With Late-Night Hours Until 5 AM

Haneda Airport, Japan's gateway to the skies, welcomes a new addition inside the Haneda Airport Garden complex directly connected to the terminal. BRISK STAND, the Kobe-born gourmet burger shop, opens its new "BRISK STAND HANEDA AIRPORT GARDEN" location on July 5th.

BRISK STAND, crowned Japan's number one at the "Japan Burger Championship 2025," makes its first foray into the Haneda Airport area. The new location also marks the brand's first venture into late-night hours (11:00 AM to 5:00 AM the following day), serving travelers on late-night and early-morning flights as well as domestic and international visitors staying at nearby hotels with no-compromise gourmet burgers.

Bringing "Japanese-Style Burgers" to the World

BRISK STAND has championed what could be called "Japanese-inspired burgers," born from the belief in "offering food that is not just delicious, but also good for the body."

Haneda Airport Garden serves as one of Japan's largest gateways, welcoming travelers from across the country as well as large numbers of inbound visitors from overseas. By offering burgers that embody Japan's delicate sensibility and an aesthetic of restraint, the new location aims to become a base for sending Japan's emerging food culture out into the world.

First-Ever Late-Night Hours Until 5 AM

Haneda Airport is a true 24-hour gateway, with people passing through at all hours. In response to frequent requests to enjoy BRISK STAND burgers at night, the brand is finally launching late-night hours from 11:00 AM to 5:00 AM the following day.

Whether departing on a trip or arriving late at night, travelers can enjoy a guilt-free, "body-pleasing" burger whenever hunger strikes. The new hours add a rich new dining option to the airport that never sleeps.

Signature Menu, Made Without Compromise

Fitting for the start or end of a journey, the menu features ingredients and preparation with no shortcuts.

Kitta-yatsu, the original signature item: The finished burger is cut in half lengthwise, and the cross-section of the whole-wheat bun, soaked in meat juices, is seared a second time on a griddle — a one-of-a-kind signature menu item.

100% domestic beef patty: Made with no fillers and seasoned only with natural sea salt boiled over firewood for 15 hours, bringing out the beef's true flavor.

House-simmered onions: Carefully prepared over more than three days, these tender, sweet, Japanese-style onions are simmered slowly until soft.

Additive-free buns: Made with whole wheat flour and Yotsuba butter, without any shortening or margarine.

About BRISK STAND

BRISK STAND is a gourmet burger shop born from the desire to "offer food that is not just delicious, but good for the body." Drawing on Japan's delicate sensibility and artisan craftsmanship, the brand pursues an aesthetic of restraint that lets the quality of its ingredients speak for themselves.

The 100% domestic beef patties use no fillers and are seasoned only with domestic natural sea salt boiled over firewood for 15 hours, bringing out the beef's rich flavor. The additive-free buns use whole wheat flour and Yotsuba butter, with no shortening or margarine. The house-simmered onions are prepared carefully over more than three days for a soft, sweet, Japanese-style flavor, made without refined oil.

Together, these ingredients create a dining experience reminiscent of savoring a Japanese meal. The brand's original signature item, "Kitta-yatsu," in which the burger is cut in half and the cross-section is seared a second time on a griddle to let the bun soak up the meat juices, regularly draws long lines at its locations nationwide.

Founded in 2019 in Kobe's Motomachi neighborhood, BRISK STAND quickly built a following through word of mouth for its quality, and went on to win the "Japan Burger Championship 2025," Japan's largest hamburger competition. The brand has also been selected twice for Tabelog's Hyakumeiten (Top 100 Restaurants) list.

BRISK STAND now operates 25 locations nationwide, including Sapporo; Asakusa, Kamakura, Kabukicho, Shinjuku, Omotesando, Azabu-Juban, Suidobashi, Nakameguro, Ebisu, Ikebukuro Sunshine, Kitasenju, and Haneda Airport Garden in the Kanto region; Niigata; Okazaki, Nagoya Sakae, and Matsusaka in the Chubu region; its main Kobe store along with Umeda, Himeji, Kyoto, and LaLaport Sakai in the Kansai region; Tokushima; Hita Mameda; and Nago in Okinawa (as of July 3, 2026).

The new Haneda Airport Garden location marks an important milestone not only for expanding recognition across Japan, but also toward the brand's broader ambitions for global expansion. BRISK STAND aims to send Japan's proud "Wa-burger" culture out into the world, starting from Haneda, to the many inbound visitors passing through from around the globe.
