Cath Kidston is releasing a new selection of Mother's Day gift items at all directly managed stores nationwide and through the official online store (https://cathkidston.jp/). The lineup includes three apron designs and three book bag charm eco bags, all created as Japan-exclusive items.
In addition, on May 9 (Saturday) and May 10 (Sunday), stores will carry the "Cath Kidston Original Wrapping Flower Harmony Ditsy" — a store-exclusive arrangement using Cath Kidston art paper — available in two colors at ¥5,500 (tax included), in limited quantities.
Aprons – ¥8,800 each (tax included)
The Japan-exclusive aprons are made from a moderately thick, lightweight cotton canvas fabric printed with Cath Kidston artwork, with color-coordinated straps as accents. The shoulder strap is adjustable via a slide mechanism, and the waist ribbon can be tied at the front or back. The large pocket is roomy enough to fit a smartphone.
Icon Floral – A vibrant floral print with a Painted Gingham pocket that blends two Cath Kidston artwork styles together. Pairing this with the matching Book Bag Charm Eco Bag makes for a well-coordinated gift set.
Royal Guards – Guards and corgis illustrated in a softly drawn, distinctly British style. The combination of motifs is tied to the late Queen Elizabeth II's beloved corgis.
Scallop Rose – A classic scallop-and-rose motif in soft, gentle tones that blends a nostalgic warmth with a quiet, grown-up elegance.
Book Bag Charm Eco Bags – ¥6,600 each (tax included)
Cath Kidston's iconic small book bag has been reimagined as a miniature charm, with a compact eco bag tucked inside. Despite its small size, the eco bag holds enough for two 2-liter bottles. Three designs are available, drawing from some of the most popular prints since the brand's return to Japan.
Icon Floral – A highly popular large book bag print in miniature form, paired with a Painted Gingham eco bag featuring a hand-drawn, paper-textured finish.
