Chez Shibata, operated by O-Delice de Shibata Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Naoya Fukui), will make its first foray into the Kanto region. The new store opens at Seibu Department Store Ikebukuro on September 17, 2025 (Wednesday), bringing fresh Chez Shibata sweets to customers in the Kanto area for the first time.
With locations in Tajimi and Nagoya, as well as international expansion, Chez Shibata continues to create unique sweets based on French confectionery traditions and techniques. As the world increasingly seeks Japanese craftsmanship and flavors, seasonal fresh cakes evolve with the chef's inspiration, creating exciting changes throughout the year.
The newly opened Seibu Ikebukuro store will feature their signature "Eclair au Beurre Salé" and the Seibu Ikebukuro exclusive "Grand Cru Vanille," along with seasonal petit gâteaux and baked goods in an extensive lineup. Customers can fully experience the world of Chez Shibata.
