Store Concept: Experience the Brand's "Roots"

About CHUMS
The brand's founder, a river guide on Colorado River in Utah, developed eyewear retention straps to prevent sunglasses from falling into the water during rafting. This led to the creation of CHUMS's first product, the "CHUMS Original Retainer."
After establishing a factory in Hurricane, Utah, the brand introduced its mascot, the Booby Bird, and began expanding into apparel using sweatshirt materials. Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2023, CHUMS continues to create products that fulfill the desire for "wouldn't it be great if there was something like this" in everyday life.
Brand Mascot: Booby Bird

The Blue-footed Booby inhabits coastlines from Ecuador to southern Mexico and the Ogasawara Islands in Japan. Known for being very friendly and lacking wariness, South American fishermen call them "bobo" (foolish bird). The name shares its root with "booby prize," which refers to second-to-last place.
