Navi Tomo, a community site operated by Shochiku Broadcasting Co., Ltd., will hold [Cinema Kabuki 'Two Wisteria Maidens / Nihon Furisode Hajime' Screening with Commentary & Kabuki-za Walking Tour <with Lunch & Souvenir>] on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in cooperation with Shochiku Co., Ltd. Theatrical Rights Division.
This event is the second installment of the popular program that was fully booked when held in October last year. Even for beginners who feel that "traditional performing arts are intimidating," this event offers a comprehensive experience that allows them to fully enjoy the world of Kabuki through multifaceted explanations and experiences leveraging the Shochiku Group's network.

The screening features 'Two Wisteria Maidens / Nihon Furisode Hajime' starring a star-studded cast including Bando Tamasaburo and Nakamura Shichino suke. The backstage footage and powerful close-up shots unique to Cinema Kabuki are must-sees.
Kabuki Commentary by Shochiku Theatrical Division Staff
Explanations cover not only the screening work but also the highlights of the performance and "ABCs of Kabuki," presented in an easy-to-understand manner even for first-timers.
The tour takes you through attractive spots from Kabuki Inari to the rooftop garden and Kobikichozo Square. Special Kabuki-za souvenirs are also provided.
