Cirque du Soleil's KOOZA (アース製薬 クーザ) opens in Tokyo on Wednesday, February 24, 2027, at the Odaiba Big Top (お台場ビッグトップ). The Tokyo run was first announced as 83 shows from February 24 to Sunday, April 25, and 69 additional shows have now been added from Tuesday, April 27 to Sunday, June 20. With the additional shows, the Tokyo run totals 152 shows from February 24 to June 20.
KOOZA is Cirque du Soleil's first visit to Japan in four years. One of the company's signature productions, it has drawn more than 10 million people worldwide and marks 20 years since its premiere in 2027. Tickets for the Tokyo run drew a strong response from fans who had been waiting for the show, and few seats were left. The added shows keep the Tokyo run going from the February opening through the early-summer holiday season, including Golden Week, ahead of the separate Osaka run that opens in August.

The Story of KOOZA
Inspired by "KOZA," a Sanskrit word meaning "treasure box," KOOZA tells the story of the Innocent, a captivating character.
One day, a box arrives for the Innocent. Out of it springs the Trickster, a mysterious character created by the world of KOOZA. Holding a stick that carries a special power, he leads the Innocent into the world of KOOZA. There the Innocent meets the residents of the Kingdom of KOOZA, including the King, the Clown, and Mad Dog, and becomes absorbed in a world full of surprises. What awaits at the end of this fantastical journey?
Strength and fragility, chaos and harmony, good and evil: KOOZA portrays the bonds between people, their beauty, and their identity as they sway between these poles, using colorful staging that weaves together surprise and thrills, laughter and emotion. Acrobatic physical expression and clown performance, the traditional elements of the circus, combine with a grand stage set, original costumes, emotionally stirring music, and an international cast of artists and musicians to draw audiences into an exotic world full of wonder.
KOOZA is the longest-running of the Cirque du Soleil productions that continue to tour in their original format, and 2027 marks 20 years since its premiere.
