For two nights only, Tokyo's waterfront gets a new after-dark spectacle. On August 29 (Saturday) and 30 (Sunday), 2026, Odaiba Marine Park will host a special program pairing the Tokyo Aqua Symphony fountain with an 800-drone show, staged in partnership with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau as part of the "TOKYO Entertainment Journey" project.
The program temporarily changes Tokyo Aqua Symphony's regular schedule so that fountain, light, music, and 800 drones can perform together. It's a two-day-only blend of drones filling the summer night sky and a dramatic fountain rising from the bay.

A Joint Performance by Tokyo Aqua Symphony and the Drone Show
Tokyo Aqua Symphony is a fountain operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to bring more energy to the Rinkai Fukutoshin waterfront area (Daiba, Aomi, and Ariake).
For this special program, Tokyo Aqua Symphony and the 800-drone show run together, for these two days only — August 29 (Saturday) and 30 (Sunday).
In the "Canon" program, the drones bring a fantastical undersea world to life. In "SAKURA FUBUKI," they use light to fill the night sky with imagery inspired by traditions passed down since the Edo period and Tokyo's official flower, the Somei Yoshino cherry blossom.
It's a night where water and sky come together in an "Old meets New" scene, offering a new kind of Tokyo sightseeing experience.
Performance Schedule
Tokyo Aqua Symphony normally performs several times a day. On August 29 and 30, part of the regular schedule will be adjusted so that the 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM performances are paired with the 800-drone show.
Each performance runs about 10 minutes, combining fountain, light, music, and drones for the "Canon" and "SAKURA FUBUKI" programs — available for these two days only.

Part of a Tokyo Metropolitan Government Tourism Initiative
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government promotes Tokyo's appeal at home and abroad as part of its effort to build the "Tokyo Brand." This event, "TOKYO Entertainment Journey," was selected for the government's tourism promotion project for fiscal year 2026.
The event combines the charm of Tokyo's waterfront and traditional culture with one of the world's largest fountains, Tokyo Aqua Symphony, and a cutting-edge drone show, creating a new nighttime entertainment experience that embodies the "Tokyo Tokyo Old meets New" concept.
