JOURNAL STANDARD relume Releases Knit Series Made with Premium Merino Wool from Australia's Collinsville

JOURNAL STANDARD relume, operated by Baycrews Inc., has introduced a range of knitwear made with fine merino wool from Collinsville, a renowned Australian wool producer.

Now in its second year since its debut, the relume knit series made with Collinsville wool, known for its reliable quality, has already built a large following. This latest lineup presents items from that popular series.

Collinsville Wool Crewneck

Color: Brown

The crewneck has dropped shoulders that fall naturally and a moderately roomy box silhouette. The neckline is clean without being too tight, and the sizing makes it easy to layer over shirts or cut-and-sewn tops.

It feels light and soft, adding a touch of refinement as if you were wearing a sweatshirt. It is a crewneck style popular for its simple yet effortlessly relaxed look.

Collinsville Wool Vneck

Color: Black

The advantage of a V-neck is the wide choice of innerwear it works with. From plain tops to patterns such as stripes, and even different shirt collar shapes, it offers a different look depending on what is worn underneath.

This knit has a carefully calculated V-neck that is neither too deep nor too shallow, so the neckline looks well balanced when worn with a cut-and-sewn top, turtleneck, or shirt. A single piece can help with a variety of styling options.

The body width is designed with a slightly slimmer silhouette, so it sits neatly under a jacket or coat without bunching, making it easy to create a clean, polished look.

Collinsville Wool Poloshirts

Color: Gray

A knit polo is a piece worth having in the early-autumn repertoire of refined outfits. The neckline has a classic two-button placket, and leaving the buttons open gives a relaxed, effortless look.

Like the V-neck, it has a slightly slimmer body width than the crewneck, which pairs very well with outer layers. At the same time, the proportions are designed so it does not look too formal, making it a piece that can take center stage with casual items such as wide pants or denim.

High-quality knitwear, made easy to wear.

The COLLINSVILLE WOOL knit series was released as a new staple for JOURNAL STANDARD relume.

COLLINSVILLE WOOL

Collinsville is a wool maker that has its wool thoroughly washed and finished at a major scouring factory in Japan, polishing it into white, smooth, high-quality wool. It also maintains traceability (a system for recording and tracking each step of the process) across every stage, from selecting the raw wool through processing and distribution, preserving quality and carrying it through to the finished products.

With a history of more than 130 years, it is one of Australia's largest long-established producers. It is known for using raw wool from purebred Collinsville sheep, carrying the bloodlines of some of the finest rams in Australia through genetics-based selection.

The company has also won various awards. At the most recent 2025 Rabobank National Merino Sheep Show in Dubbo, the most prestigious Merino sheep show in Australia, held in Dubbo, New South Wales, it won first place for two years in a row, a sign of its thorough management and high quality.
