CONVERSE TOKYO, the fashion brand born from CONVERSE's more than 100-year history, is releasing its first collaboration with the anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica. The collection goes on sale from August 21, 2026 (Friday) at all CONVERSE TOKYO stores (excluding the Gotemba Outlet store) and the official online store.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica was created by the creator team Magica Quartet. Its 2011 TV series drew attention for its unpredictable story and highly original world, and the series has since expanded across a theatrical trilogy, manga adaptations, novels, and games. This collaboration focuses on the 2013 film Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion, with collaboration items illustrated with six characters including Madoka Kaname.
Built around new artwork of the six magical girls created by artist Samehoshi, the lineup includes a T-shirt, an acrylic stand, and the original artwork itself, plus a glass accessory made in collaboration with HARIO Lampwork Factory — four item types in total.
To mark the launch of the collaboration, the original artwork Samehoshi created for this project will be on display for a limited time at the CONVERSE TOKYO Miyashita Park and Ginza stores. On August 22 (Saturday) and 23 (Sunday), Samehoshi will also make an in-store appearance at the CONVERSE TOKYO Miyashita Park store.

About Samehoshi
Born in Kyoto Prefecture. Graduated from Musashino Art University with a degree in oil painting. Drawn to things that remain beautiful even as they fall apart — like cake dropped on the floor or melting ice cream — Samehoshi came to express that same idea through the figure of a "girl." Out of a fear of forgetting and being forgotten, the artist captures emotions that can't be preserved in photos or video, using fine, delicate lines.
