Curious George Kitchen, the dining café themed around the beloved picture book and animated series "Curious George," is hosting a limited-time "Man in the Yellow Hat Fair" at Tokyo Skytree Town Solamachi from Wednesday, June 3 to Tuesday, July 21, 2026. The fair features three exclusive menu items, six new merchandise products, a life-size character panel, and a special in-store announcement.
About the Man in the Yellow Hat Fair
The fair celebrates the Man in the Yellow Hat — George's closest friend and most iconic companion. Three limited-time menu items will be offered during the fair: two brand-new dishes and one returning favorite.
The first new item is the "Hello from Inside the Yellow Hat! First Meeting Parfait," inspired by the first encounter between George and the Man in the Yellow Hat. Lifting the hat reveals a colorful fruit parfait layered with brownie and generous whipped cream, capturing the excitement of that original meeting.
The second new item, "Cheers, Feeling All Grown Up! Banana & Mango Yogurt Drink," is a tropical-flavored drink that channels a slightly grown-up sophistication. Made with banana and mango yogurt, the drink is topped with smooth clear jelly and whipped cream designed to evoke fluffy foam, with aloe vera pieces adding a pleasant chewiness. Its sunny yellow color reflects the Man in the Yellow Hat's signature look.
Also returning is the "Man in the Yellow Hat's Luxurious Gourmet Plate," a hearty single-plate dish featuring saffron rice shaped like the yellow hat, surrounded by roast beef, macaroni salad, carrot rapée, and mashed potato-wrapped roast beef rolls.

Alongside the fair, six new Man in the Yellow Hat-themed merchandise items will be released in two waves. A life-size panel of the Man in the Yellow Hat will also be installed in the café for photo opportunities. From the start of the fair, a special in-store announcement featuring the Man in the Yellow Hat will play — exclusive to the café. The announcement changes monthly, so visitors can look forward to a new message with each visit.

Visiting the Café
During busy periods, table use is limited to 80 minutes. Both reserved and walk-in seats are available. Advance reservations are recommended.
