Tokyo Skytree is holding its second collaboration event with the popular character Chiikawa — the first in three years — titled "Chiikawa ☆ Starfall Skytree(R) and the Secret Island," running from Friday, July 10 to Saturday, October 31, 2026. The event coincides with the theatrical release of Chiikawa the Movie: The Secret of the Mermaid Island on Friday, July 24, 2026.

1. Exhibition Decorations and Photo Spots
Welcome to the secret island in the sky! Centered on the Tembo Galleria at 450 meters above ground, characters from Chiikawa gather for a special event. Decorations and photo spots using event-exclusive visuals will be set up throughout, immersing visitors in the world of the Chiikawa film.
Tembo Shuttle (Elevator) — "Set Sail for the Island!" — Enjoy a sea voyage to a special island. Something's coming… how exciting!!
Tembo Galleria Floor 445 Welcome Area — "Welcome to the Island!!" — Characters in special costumes greet visitors upon arrival.

Note: Stuffed animals in the images are for illustration only and are not actually set up at the venue. Chiikawa merchandise is not sold inside the observation deck. Feel free to bring your favorite stuffed animals with you.

A participatory "star magnet message board" is also available — write a message on a star-shaped magnet and stick it to the board. Fill it up with everyone's messages!
2. Limited Event Photo Service
Take photos with the characters against the panoramic view from the Tembo Galleria. Photos are presented in an event-exclusive photo mount.

3. "SKYTREE ROUND THEATER(R)" Special Film Screening
A special Chiikawa film is screened on the panoramic screen 350 meters above ground.

About SKYTREE ROUND THEATER(R)
Located on Tembo Deck Floor 350, SKYTREE ROUND THEATER is a nighttime-only presentation that uses the window glass as a massive screen, with 13 speakers delivering immersive sound and 24 projectors projecting stunning visuals.
4. Limited Cafe Menu
A special "island cafe" themed around Chiikawa characters opens at Tokyo Skytree.

"Meal Voucher Included Observation Deck Ticket"
Ordering the limited cafe menu requires advance purchase of a "Meal Voucher Included Observation Deck Ticket." Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and must be purchased by 11:59 PM the day before your visit.
Please note: Even if seats are available on the day, the limited event cafe menu cannot be ordered without this ticket. Be sure to purchase by 11:59 PM the previous day.

Entry to 1F SKYTREE SPACE
To manage crowds, entry to 1F SKYTREE SPACE requires advance reservation via the LINE app "mogily" on select dates. Time slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations do not guarantee the availability of merchandise or purchase bonuses. Visitors are limited to one entry per day, with a 30-minute time slot.
July 10–12 (Friday–Sunday): Entry limited to observation deck visitors. Reserve via a "touchpoint" terminal on Tembo Deck Floor 350 using your smartphone.
From July 13 (Monday) onward: Open to all visitors. Reservations via the LINE account "ちいかわ・ナガノキャラクターズチケット":
- Slots before 12:30 PM: Reservations open from 7:00 PM the previous day
- Slots from 1:00 PM onward: Reservations open from 12:00 PM on the day of visit (1 hour before the desired entry slot)
6. Special Lighting Illumination
The Tokyo Skytree will feature a special Chiikawa-themed lighting illumination. Designs inspired by each character change approximately every 100 seconds — a must-see display at night.
About Chiikawa
Chiikawa is a manga by illustrator Nagano, originally published on X (formerly Twitter). It follows the everyday adventures of Chiikawa and their friends Hachiware, Usagi, and other distinctive characters — a story that is fun, bittersweet, and occasionally quite intense. The characters have grown popular through social media and LINE stickers, and a TV anime series began airing on Mezamashi TV (Fuji TV network) in April 2022.
About the Film: Chiikawa the Movie: The Secret of the Mermaid Island — Opening Nationwide July 24 (Friday)
The film adapts the "Siren Arc," a long-running storyline that has repeatedly trended on social media and is one of the most beloved episodes in the series. Production is by SAIPIKU, known for the high-quality animation in 劇場版「ウマ娘 プリティーダービー 新時代の扉」. Under full supervision by Nagano, Chiikawa and friends' adventure unfolds with sweeping music and breathtaking visuals.
