Arc System Works has released DAMON and BABY, a top-down gun action adventure game, on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Steam on March 26, 2026. A launch trailer has been published alongside a free title update roadmap and a developer message.
A New Take on Gun Action and Exploration
The game follows Damon, a demon lord who finds himself unable to leave a mysterious child, as he sets out on a heartwarming adventure to break the curse. DAMON and BABY blends exploration-style action across a vast open world with twin-stick shooter mechanics that demand precise aiming.
Players cycle between a home base for upgrades and exploration stages, making use of a variety of weapons including handguns and machine guns to take on strategic boss battles. Skill customization and a wide range of costume options allow for a personalized playstyle and visual look. The game also supports offline two-player co-op, with the second player controlling a dog companion who assists with item collection and combat.
