Two new collections celebrating Donald Duck's birthday on June 9 are set to arrive at Disney Store locations across Japan. "DONALD BIRTHDAY 2026" and "DONALD FASHION 2026" will go on sale from Friday, May 15, 2026, at Disney Store locations, with select stores and the Disney official online store launching the collections earlier on Tuesday, May 12.
Select locations — Disney Flagship Tokyo and the Tokyo Disney Resort store — along with the official online store will begin sales on May 12. Disney Store Club Premium Members can access the online store exclusively from Monday, May 11 at 12:00 PM through Tuesday, May 12 at 7:00 AM. In-store purchases from the official launch date require a visit reservation made through the Disney Store Club app. Note that Premium Member pre-sale stock is limited and not guaranteed.
DONALD BIRTHDAY 2026
The DONALD BIRTHDAY 2026 collection features specially created artwork depicting a relaxed, mellow Donald Duck in cool summer colors. The laid-back poses and soft expressions bring a calming quality to the designs, and Chip and Dale perching on top of Donald in equally relaxed poses are an added highlight.
The lineup includes plush toys of Donald in a lounging pose, round and compact plush keychains, stationery, and bags. Home goods such as a chair mat with a hat-themed design, a cool-to-the-touch blanket, and a room light make it easy to spend time with the character at home. Select stores carry a super-big size plush toy with a soft, squishy texture, perfect for relaxing — available only while supplies last.
DONALD FASHION 2026
The DONALD FASHION 2026 collection centers on navy and white border patterns and bold character designs suited to early summer. The items use a relatively understated color palette while still incorporating Donald Duck prominently, making them easy to incorporate into everyday outfits.
Items in the lineup include a denim shirt with a distinctive back design, a reversible hat, and border-pattern socks. A shoulder bag with a face design, a T-shirt and large tote bag featuring Donald Duck scattered throughout the design, and a long-sleeve Spirit Jersey round out the collection.
