About the Jacket
The jacket is based on the "MA-1 REMODEL MARK II," an evolved version of the "MA-1," a custom flight jacket that debuted in 2009 as one of AVIREX's classic designs.
Built on that "MA-1 REMODEL MARK II," the special models take their design from specific Evangelion units: black is themed on Unit-01, red on Unit-02 and navy on Mark.06.
- Hood: A cowhide leather patch on the hood gives the MA-1 style a strong presence. The hood is detachable, and the jacket keeps that presence even with the hood removed.
- Lining and reflector tape: Both match the color of each unit, blending the world of Evangelion with design details that evoke rescue.
- Stencil prints: Applied throughout the jacket, they bring out the rugged feel unique to military clothing.
