Falò Brewing in Miyagi's Yamamoto Town Releases New Strawberry Beer "HBD"

Falò Brewing, a craft beer brewery based in Yamamoto Town, Miyagi Prefecture, is releasing a new strawberry beer called "HBD." Starting March 4, 2026, the beer will be available at beer bars and craft beer specialty shops nationwide, as well as at roadside stations in Yamamoto Town.

From Brewery Opening to New Release

Falò Brewing completed construction of its brewery facility in August 2025 and obtained its brewing license in October of the same year. After focusing on draft beer production, canned beer sales launched in January 2026, with the product finding its way to craft beer specialty shops in Sendai and across Japan. The release of "HBD" marks the next step in the brewery's journey, inspired by a desire to share the rich local produce of Yamamoto Town with a wider audience.

About "HBD"

Brewed in keeping with the brewery's philosophy of "letting the true flavor of ingredients shine," "HBD" showcases the vibrant aroma and flavor of strawberries grown in Yamamoto Town. While craft beer enthusiasts will appreciate its complexity, the familiar, approachable taste of strawberry makes it an accessible choice for those who don't typically drink beer.

Yamamoto Town Strawberries, Delivered Nationwide

Yamamoto Town is one of Miyagi Prefecture's leading strawberry-producing areas. The strawberries used in "HBD" come from Sansan-en, a local farm in the town.

By incorporating strawberries carefully cultivated by local farmers, the brewery aims to bring the appeal of Yamamoto Town's agriculture and specialty products to people throughout Japan. Whether picked up by a local at a roadside station or discovered at a bar by someone curious about the region, "HBD" is a beer that connects people to the community.
