Tenmusu Meets Seal? Oishii Nezumi's Food-Themed Seal Plushies Become Fluffy Capsule Toys

Capsule toy maker Qualia is releasing Food Seal Plushies (¥400 per try, tax included; 6 designs total), rolling out at capsule toy corners nationwide starting Monday, August 24, 2026.

Supervised by Plush Designer Oishii Nezumi

The lineup is supervised by Oishii Nezumi, a designer known for handmade plushies built around a "food x animal" theme. Nezumi's plushies regularly sell out when listed on the handmade marketplace minne, and the especially popular "Seal Series" is now coming to capsule toy machines.

Each plush has a plump, voluminous shape with a soft, fluffy surface texture.

The lineup spans six designs, each built around a different food motif — from "Tenmusu Seal," styled with a rice-ball pattern and a shrimp tempura sitting on its head like the classic tenmusu snack, to "Corn Dog Seal," whose tail fin doubles as the corn dog's stick.

Every seal comes with a fluffy texture, its own food-inspired look, and a ball chain attachment, making it easy to clip onto a bag and take along.
