Star Wars Games Launch in Fortnite Starting May 1

Epic Games, Disney, and Lucasfilm have launched a new wave of Star Wars games in Fortnite as of May 1. The collaboration builds on years of Star Wars content in the game — from limited-time events to full battle royale seasons. Developers are now using an official Star Wars toolkit featuring characters, environments, vehicles, and assets from the Lucasfilm universe to build Star Wars experiences inside Fortnite.

Players can now race Tauntauns on ice with friends, run a lively cantina on Tatooine, and pilot the T-65B X-wing Starfighter through a variety of Star Wars adventures. New Star Wars quests will roll out weekly from May 2 through the end of May, with free rewards available for completing them.

Mandalorian and Grogu Watch Party Island

An invitation to the Mandalorian and Grogu Watch Party island arrives on May 19 at 11:00 PM JST. There, players can watch a special message from Jon Favreau and a 10-minute advance screening of the film Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu, ahead of its theatrical release on May 22.

This game, created by Fairview Portals and Beyond Creative, casts players as deputies who must collect bounties, defend the town from waves of enemies, and search for Grogu. Exploring Nevarro for 20 minutes unlocks an exclusive Mandalorian Sanctuary loading screen.
