To commemorate the 75th anniversary of Fujiya Milky and Wagashi Day on June 16, Eitaro Sohonpo — a long-established wagashi brand with roots tracing back to the Edo period in Nihonbashi — has teamed up with Fujiya Patisseries. The result is two limited-edition sweets that combine Eitaro Sohonpo's traditional Japanese ingredients with the beloved flavor of Fujiya Milky, made using Hokkaido condensed milk.

Milky Tiramisu Cake and Milky Kiln-Baked Double Choux Cream collaboration sweets

Milky Tiramisu Cake using Nihonbashi Eitaro's Black Sugar Syrup

A sponge soaked in black sugar syrup is layered with a mochi-textured warabimochi cream and a milky tiramisu cream made with the same Hokkaido condensed milk used in Fujiya Milky. The cake is finished on top with a caramel black sugar glaze. The deep, rich flavor of Nihonbashi Eitaro's black sugar syrup gives the cake a refined and elegant taste.

Milky Kiln-Baked Double Choux Cream using Nihonbashi Eitaro's Chunky Red Bean Paste

A Japanese-inspired take on Fujiya's popular kiln-baked double choux cream. The shell is filled with a light custard cream and generously topped with chunky red bean paste rich in adzuki bean flavor from Nihonbashi Eitaro, along with a milky chantilly cream made from the same Hokkaido condensed milk as Fujiya Milky. The result is a hearty, satisfying choux cream with a distinctly Japanese character.
