A visually striking rosé wine called ginou has gone on sale through KURAND, an online craft liquor store. With silver foil dancing inside a cherry blossom-pink bottle, the wine began its lottery sales period on March 4, 2026.
About ginou
ginou is an authentic rosé wine named for the way silver foil floats through a pink rosé reminiscent of cherry blossoms. It is crafted from Koshu, a grape variety native to Japan, and Marselan, a rare variety, both grown in Yamanashi Prefecture. The glittering silver foil in the glass makes it a striking addition to any occasion.

Flavor Profile
The wine uses a white wine base from Yamanashi's Koshu grapes, with 5% red wine from the rare Marselan variety blended in. The refreshing citrus notes and gentle acidity characteristic of Koshu are complemented by Marselan's ripe fruit aromas and its robust yet elegant acidity. The aim was to balance the visual beauty of the shimmering silver foil with a flavor profile that should satisfy wine enthusiasts.
