Grand Prince Hotel Osaka Bay, a 28-story urban resort hotel in Osaka's bay area, has joined Universal Studios Japan's Associate Hotel program as of April 1, 2026. With this partnership, guests at the hotel can now enjoy a more seamless experience combining quality hotel accommodation with a visit to one of Japan's most popular theme parks.
The hotel first opened under its current brand in July 2023 and has since undergone a large-scale renovation of more than 400 guest rooms. Located adjacent to Yumeshima — the site of the Osaka-Kansai Expo — it has been a base for sightseeing and events in the Osaka Bay Area. Through the Associate Hotel program, direct access to Universal Studios Japan becomes available along with a range of new guest services.
① Studio Pass-Included Accommodation Plans
A new accommodation plan bundling a hotel stay with Universal Studios Japan Studio Passes is now on sale. Rather than booking a hotel and purchasing park tickets separately, guests can secure both at once during the reservation process, reducing the hassle of pre-trip planning.
② In-Hotel Studio Pass Sales for Hotel Guests
Hotel guests can purchase 1-Day Studio Passes at a dedicated counter inside the hotel. This means that even last-minute decisions to visit the park are covered — guests can pick up their tickets at the hotel before heading out.
③ Free Shuttle Bus Between the Hotel and Universal Studios Japan
A complimentary shuttle bus runs between Grand Prince Hotel Osaka Bay and Universal Studios Japan (Sakurajima Parking Lot 3), departing from the hotel entrance. The service allows guests to avoid public transport transfers and crowded stations, offering a more relaxed commute — particularly convenient for families with children or guests carrying bags full of souvenirs on the way back.
