Gyutan Sakaba Tanto, famous for its ¥550 all-you-can-eat beef tongue, has officially launched as an experiential dining restaurant where guests can enjoy Murder Mystery games. The venue is collaborating with 4 affiliated locations in the Kameido area, and reservations for performances began on February 5th, 2026.
What is Murder Mystery?
Murder Mystery is an "experiential mystery game" where participants take on the roles of characters and unravel the mysteries of incidents that occur within the story.
In recent years, as interest has shifted from "passive entertainment consumption" to "experiences that allow you to drive the narrative yourself," this format has gained popularity across a wide demographic from students to working professionals in their 20s to 40s, becoming increasingly popular nationwide.
Korekara Mystery's CEO Yuki Iida envisions "making Murder Mystery one of Japan's three major forms of entertainment" and positions it as "the era when stories shift from 'watching' to 'experiencing.'"

① Immersive Experience with Diverse Game Masters
Kore Misu Kameido combines restaurant management expertise with a team of Game Masters who excel in performance arts, creating highly immersive experiences.
The venue employs influencers affiliated with talent agencies and professional actors as Game Masters. This not only serves as an attraction point but also elevates the quality of performances. Through professional acting skills, participants can immerse themselves more deeply into the Murder Mystery world as story characters.
② Murder Mystery While Drinking, Discussion Sessions Over Meals
A major feature of Kore Misu Kameido is the ability to enjoy Murder Mystery "while drinking." During performances, participants can immerse themselves in the story with drinks in hand, and after the performance, they can enjoy discussion sessions over beef tongue and other dishes.
The venue will also incorporate "Murder Mystery games designed to be played while drinking alcohol," which Korekara Mystery plans to roll out in the future, offering special Murder Mystery plans that incorporate dining. This creates a new entertainment experience of "drinking x mystery solving" that only an izakaya can provide.

A murder case occurs at a hot spring inn. As 5 suspects grow suspicious of each other, a silencer-equipped handgun is found in the victim's changing basket, plunging the situation into deeper mystery.

"Moonstone Manor Murder Case"
Set in the American South in the mid-20th century. After a dinner gathering of 4 detectives, Lord Moonstone's body is discovered. Was it suicide or murder? Who is the culprit? A battle of wits among 4 detectives begins.

"Villa Murder"
A completely naked corpse is discovered in a villa's wine cellar. A slightly dark, adult-oriented Murder Mystery where the circumstances of quirky characters intertwine in complex ways. I personally love mysteries, and I believe the appeal of Murder Mystery lies in how deeply you can immerse yourself and experience the story as a participant, rather than observing it as a third party.
What I value as a GM is not making participants mere spectators. I want them to perceive events unfolding before their eyes as "things happening to themselves" and enjoy the process of unraveling intricately intertwined intentions.
As GM Leader, I prioritize world-building and immersion level above all else, and I dedicate myself to creating an environment and providing support so that all GMs can confidently guide participants into the story world.

Future Developments at Kore Misu Kameido
Leveraging the strength of collaboration with talent agencies, the venue employs influencers and actors as GMs. The main focus will be "Oshi-mada" (playing Murder Mystery with your favorite talent), with plans to hold fan events that follow.
Because the venue is a restaurant, it will provide a new entertainment space combining Murder Mystery with small-scale drinking gatherings.
