On Friday, September 18, a new bistro called Le fiL and a gift shop and café called futo gift shop & cafe mejiro are opening together in Mejiro, Tokyo, a three-minute walk from JR Yamanote Line's Mejiro Station.
The first floor houses Le fiL, a bistro for everyday meals, while the second floor holds futo gift shop & cafe mejiro, where visitors can choose gifts for loved ones or for themselves.
The new spot brings together enjoying a meal, choosing a gift for someone, and spending unhurried time with someone special — each an everyday moment that comes together naturally under one roof in Mejiro.

Le fiL is a bistro rooted in the neighborhood, blending French and Italian cooking with Japanese touches and seasonal ingredients.
From lunch and after-work dinners to family meals and time with someone special, it aims to be a place people can drop into whenever the mood strikes to eat there that day, not only for special occasions.
The dining room also incorporates food items and tableware selected by futo, used in the dishes and table settings.
Items discovered over a meal can lead to new finds at futo on the second floor, and this loose connection between food and gifts is one of the ways to enjoy the space.

Following the online shop and the Daikanyama store, the Mejiro store is futo's newest location and requires no reservation, so visitors can stop by casually whenever a gift idea comes to mind.
