A new cover album is on the way from virtual artist HIMEHINA. Studio LaRa has revealed HIMEHINA Utamita San, set for release on December 23, 2026 (Wednesday), with a special site now live and first-press limited editions open for pre-order on the official EC site "HIMEHINA MART."
About the Cover Album
The reveal took place at HIMEHINA's Tokyo homecoming show, "HIMEHINA WORLD Tour 2026 'LIFETIME is BUBBLIN' in Tokyo," held at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo on August 11, 2026 (Tuesday, national holiday).
HIMEHINA Utamita San is the third entry in the series, arriving about three years after HIMEHINA Utamita Ni, released in November 2023. The new volume includes Vocaloid covers such as Giga's "Beyond the Way" and Shiina Mota's "Astronauts," along with J-POP covers like MAISONdes' "Tokyo Shandy Rendezvous." It also adds VTuber hit songs, including Houshou Marine's "Bishoujo Muzai Pirates" and Hoshimachi Suisei's "Bibideba," for a total of 10 tracks spanning genres and eras.

Deluxe Edition Comes with a Flocked Mascot — Pre-Orders Now Open
HIMEHINA Utamita San will be released on December 23, 2026 (Wednesday) in two first-press limited formats: a deluxe edition and a standard edition.
The deluxe edition comes in a digipak with a HIMEHINA flocked mascot and a jacket illustration sticker. The standard edition also includes a jacket illustration sticker as a first-press bonus. Both editions can be pre-ordered on the official EC site "HIMEHINA MART."

About HIMEHINA
HIMEHINA is a virtual unit made up of Tanaka Hime, known for her emotive, high-pitched vocals, and Suzuki Hina, whose gentle voice creates a beautiful harmony alongside Hime. As virtual artists, they are active across music and dance and beyond.
They are especially known for their high-quality MVs and live performances, with a YouTube channel that has surpassed 1.13 million subscribers and over 680 million total video views.
On July 2, 2025, HIMEHINA released their 4th album Bubblin, featuring 17 tracks in total, including Heart Pie Dancehall, which reached 50 million views; V, which topped 10 million views in under a year after release; and other songs such as LADY CRAZY and Kiss Kitsune.
Building on that album, HIMEHINA launched the "HIMEHINA WORLD Tour 2026 'LIFETIME is BUBBLIN'" starting in November 2025. Opening with a two-day run at Pacifico Yokohama, the tour goes on to cover seven cities across Japan plus Taipei, Seoul, and San Jose — the first solo world tour in VTuber history (based on the group's own research, as of March 2026, for a solo one-man live tour). On August 11, 2026 (Tuesday, national holiday), HIMEHINA played a Tokyo homecoming show at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo, and on October 3–4, 2026, they are set to hold "HIMEHINA WORLD Tour 2026 GRAND FINALE 2Days" at SGC HALL ARIAKE.
In addition, on July 31, 2026, HIMEHINA released a new single, Frankenstein's Monster, their first new song in about a year, which reached 1 million views roughly a week after release.

About the 4th Album "Bubblin"
Bubblin, the album behind HIMEHINA WORLD Tour 2026 "LIFETIME is BUBBLIN," was released in July 2025 and topped the mora Hi-Res album ranking. The title track "Bubblin" was also used as the opening theme for TV Asahi's nationwide program "MusicruTV," keeping the album in the spotlight even after release.
