Star Wars The Mandalorian Visual Guide, an official Lucasfilm book written by Pablo Hidalgo and translated by Akiko Tominaga (富永晶子), goes on sale Sunday, October 25 from Sekai Bunka Publishing. Because it is an official Lucasfilm publication, it is packed with information that can only be found in its pages. The book is a comprehensive guide to The Mandalorian, now streaming on Disney+.

A Guide to All Three Seasons of The Mandalorian

Following the popular visual guide format of the UK's DK (Dorling Kindersley), the book introduces the world of The Mandalorian from a unique point of view. Highlights include:
- Discover the gadgets hidden in Din Djarin's Beskar armor
- Learn more about the iconic Grogu
- Explore the secrets of "the Way," the Mandalorians' code of honor
- Take a closer look at how the Razor Crest works
- Meet the formidable Fennec Shand and the ruthless Moff Gideon, and much more

The book is also full of newly released details and artwork. Exclusive cross-section artwork of the Razor Crest and the Mandalorian's N-1 starfighter reveals the interior structure of these vehicles for the first time.

Centered on the three seasons streamed on Disney+, the book also covers parts of the original streaming drama series The Book of Boba Fett and the film Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, taking in the world of the "Mandalorian" series from end to end.

Excerpt From the Foreword
"The whole is greater than the sum of its parts," said Aristotle. The famous line applies well to storytelling and filmmaking, and especially to making dramas and films set in "a galaxy far, far away."
Creating a work like The Mandalorian takes a great many talented artists. Literally and figuratively, everything starts with the story, and everything has to be built from scratch. (...)
Perhaps, dear readers, you hadn't realized until now just how hard it is to make The Mandalorian, how much effort goes into each episode, and how carefully every detail is crafted. In this book, however, you can catch a glimpse of that effort. Through pages focusing on costumes, props, vehicles, and characters, from key elements like the Razor Crest to small pieces of gear like Mando's whistling bird, you can savor the world depicted in the story more deeply. (...)
We hope you enjoy the many details and our "sum."
After all, this is "our way."
