HOCUS POCUS Opens a Friday-and-Saturday-Only Rooftop Bar Along Omotesando's Cat Street on October 30

The donut specialty shop HOCUS POCUS is opening a rooftop bar along Cat Street in Omotesando that welcomes guests only on Friday and Saturday nights. After a pre-opening on Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17, 2026, the bar holds its grand opening on Friday, October 30, and from then on is open every Friday and Saturday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The bar is on the rooftop of the 4th floor, reached by climbing the building's stairs.

A Hideaway Rooftop Bar on the 4th Floor Along Cat Street

In a quiet back street of Omotesando, climbing the stairs of a building along Cat Street leads out to a rooftop where the night breeze passes through. The bar is open only on Fridays and Saturdays.

HOCUS POCUS has explored the possibilities of donuts by switching between frying, baking, and steaming methods and exploring ingredient pairings and textures. The bar extends that exploration into the glass: the ingredient combinations developed through donut making are translated into cocktails built around sweetness, acidity, and aroma.

The bartender behind the counter is 松本勇人.

"HOCUS POCUS" Lazu-Berry Bloom & Pistachio (¥2,400, Tax Included)

This is the bar's signature cocktail. It is made with homemade strawberry juice and gin, topped with a smooth pistachio foam of fresh cream blended with pistachio paste.

The glass is finished with coarsely crushed pistachios and edible flowers as blue as lapis lazuli. With the fruity taste of strawberry and the nutty aroma of pistachio, it is a drink to enjoy with both the eyes and the tongue.

Matcha Peach Botanical Tonic (¥2,200, Tax Included)

A drink that combines matcha, white peach, and a gin and tonic. The fruity flavor of slowly prepared white peach syrup and gin meets the astringency of strong matcha, making a cocktail that is both refreshing and deep.

Japanese Pear & Cardamom Mist (¥2,200, Tax Included)

A seasonal, limited-time frozen cocktail made with in-season Japanese pear. Frozen Japanese pear, homemade Japanese pear juice, and vodka form the base, with the aroma of cardamom and the cool freshness of mint added. A gentle sweetness is followed by a lingering note of spice.

All cocktails can be switched to a non-alcoholic version at the same price. Japanese-made gin and whisky, as well as coffee, are also available in addition to the cocktails.

The Night ロブロ Donut Included With the Charge

One donut comes with the charge. The night ロブロ donut (夜のロブロドーナツ) was prepared especially for the bar. It takes ロブロ, a traditional Danish rye bread, and turns it into a donut unique to HOCUS POCUS. The dough combines five grains (fermented rye, barley, black rice, adlay, and brown rice) with pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds. It is paired with the mellowness of homemade butter and the sweetness of figs.

A glass of magic for a night in Omotesando.
