A second volume of the "Trading Card Wafer" series featuring HoneyWorks (commonly known by the nickname "Haniwa"), the creator unit whose related videos have racked up more than 3 billion combined views, goes on sale at Animate stores nationwide on October 16, 2026 (Friday). The product is planned, produced, and sold by Media Works Co., Ltd., a company that handles merchandise built around anime, game, and creator IP.
Pre-orders open ahead of the release on September 18 (Friday) at Animate stores nationwide and through the Animate online shop.
This volume's newly drawn illustrations are themed around the "Sakuragaoka High School Cultural Festival." The characters appear in artwork created especially for this product, dressed in special cultural-festival outfits — from a Japanese-style cafe and a haunted house to greeting staff, a princess-and-butler theme, and a maid cafe.
The card lineup includes both the newly drawn illustrations made for this release and a selection of illustrations from HoneyWorks music videos, with one card randomly included per pack. The newly drawn illustration cards also feature a sparkling holographic finish, showcasing the characters' special cultural-festival looks on eye-catching cards.
A "1 BOX" purchase also comes with an original can badge bonus (9 designs), described in more detail below.
In addition, to coincide with the Volume 2 pre-order period, pre-orders for 17 acrylic stands featuring the newly drawn illustrations from both Volume 1 and Volume 2 also open at the Animate online shop on September 18 (Friday).
The lineup packs in illustrations exclusive to this release, sparkling holographic cards, and acrylic stands featuring the same artwork, bringing together the appeal of HoneyWorks in one collection.
