Hotel Granvia Okayama (1-5 Ekimotomachi, Kita-ku, Okayama City) is hosting a summer beer hall event, "~BEER HALL~ A Summer Feast and Islay Whisky — Savored with All Five Senses," at its 19th-floor Dining & Bar "Applause" from July 1 (Wednesday) through August 31 (Monday), 2026. The event features all-you-can-drink beverages and a course-style dinner served table-side.

The beverage lineup centers on summer staples while adding a distinctive spirit selection. Guests can enjoy unlimited servings of Asahi Super Dry Extra Cold — a sub-zero chilled draft beer — alongside a rotating daily selection from three Islay whiskies: Ardbeg 10 Years, Talisker 10 Years, and Bowmore 12 Years.

The full drink menu also includes sparkling wine (Santero), pure rice sake "れもんしとろん" (Remon Shitoron), and mocktails ("モクテル") for those who prefer non-alcoholic options — allowing all guests to enjoy the hotel atmosphere.

Summer Feast Course Menu

The dinner follows a course structure, with each dish brought fresh to the table by staff. The meal begins with a decorative hors d'oeuvre plate, followed by two types of crispy fried dishes that pair well with beer and highballs. The centerpiece is a ribeye steak with Japanese-style sauce, served sizzling on an iron plate. A colorful paella rich with the flavors of various ingredients comes next, and the meal concludes with a refreshing dessert.
