Iizaka Hotel Juraku (Iizaka-machi, Fukushima City, Fukushima Prefecture), operated by Juraku Co., Ltd. (head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), is installing two "Calpis® Faucets" from Asahi Soft Drinks Co., Ltd. inside the hotel. The faucets will be available to overnight guests starting at 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 23, 2026. Ahead of the official start, a preview event will be held from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Monday, July 20, 2026, a national holiday.
The "Calpis® Faucet" is a playful, experience-based drink service: turn the handle and cold Calpis pours out, just like water from a tap. It brings to life something almost everyone has imagined at some point — a faucet that pours Calpis instead of water.
This marks the first installation of "Calpis® Faucets" in Fukushima Prefecture, with two units offering the classic plain flavor and a white peach flavor. The service is exclusively for guests staying at Iizaka Hotel Juraku and comes at no additional charge.
For children, it offers the simple fun of pouring their own drink; for adults, a nostalgic moment that brings back a bit of childhood wonder. It's a new source of smiles for family and friends enjoying a hot spring getaway together.
An Asahi Super Dry auto-server will also be set up in the same area. Alongside cold Calpis, adult guests can enjoy an arranged drink that combines Calpis with beer.
