New Restaurant "Onoa's Cafe & Grill" Opens at Spa Resort Hawaiians, Serving Meals Alongside Live Hula Performances

Spa Resort Hawaiians in Iwaki, Fukushima, is renewing its facilities in stages so that time spent inside the park itself becomes a special part of every guest's trip, whether they are visiting for the day or staying overnight. This month brought a new restaurant and new guest rooms. On July 10 (Fri), the restaurant "Onoa's Cafe & Grill" opened on the second floor of the Water Park, an area with easy access from the resort's main pool. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner for guests staying at the "Wilport" (ウィルポート) hotel, while day-trip guests can enjoy lunch and dinner there as well. On July 11 (Sat), Hotel Hawaiians also added ten new "Kids Room" guest rooms across three room types, blending Hawaiian tradition with playful design. Spa Resort Hawaiians continues to evolve.

The restaurant welcomes both day-trip guests and hotel guests. Its name, "Onoa's," combines the Hawaiian words "Ono" (delicious, the best) and "Noa" (free, unbound), built around a concept of "a wonderfully delicious, free-spirited space." The interior evokes old Hawaii, filled with comfortable Hawaiian music, and during dinner hours dancers bring a live hula performance to the room. It's an "experiential restaurant for all five senses," where guests can enjoy hula dancing while they dine.
