InterContinental Sapporo, located in Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, is offering one-night limited special stay packages timed to the Toyohira River Fireworks Festival (Doshin UHB Hanabi Taikai) on July 31, 2026. Guests can enjoy approximately 4,000 fireworks — including starmines — lighting up the summer sky, viewed from the comfort of a guaranteed river-view room.
The Toyohira River Fireworks Festival is one of Sapporo's signature summer events, drawing large crowds each year. For InterContinental Sapporo, which opened in October 2025, this marks the hotel's first summer — and its first fireworks-viewing stay package.
Three plans are available, catering to different preferences: a dinner package at the hotel's contemporary kaiseki restaurant SAWAKA, a plan centered on in-room dining and a complimentary minibar, and a luxurious suite plan featuring champagne and a specially crafted appetizer selection.
River View & SAWAKA Dinner Package
This package pairs a guaranteed river-view room with a dinner course — including wine and Japanese sake pairing — at the hotel's in-house restaurant SAWAKA. After dinner, guests can settle in and watch the fireworks from their room.
