Air Race World Champion Yoshihide Muroya Returns to Kagawa Skies for Free Air Show at KAGAWA OKTOBERFEST 2026 on October 3

On Saturday, October 3, 2026, air race pilot Yoshihide Muroya will perform an air show at the Seafront Promenade of Sunport Takamatsu in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture, during KAGAWA OKTOBERFEST 2026. It will be his first flight over Kagawa in seven years, since 2019. Against a backdrop of the Seto Inland Sea, his dedicated aerobatic aircraft will trace dynamic patterns across the sky above Takamatsu. Admission is free.

Acrobatics Set Against the Seto Inland Sea's Sea and Sky

KAGAWA OKTOBERFEST 2026 is a 14-day festival bringing together beer from 10 brands, including breweries officially licensed by the original Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany, alongside gourmet food made with Kagawa-grown ingredients. Muroya's air show takes place on Saturday, October 3, the first weekend after the festival opens.

The venue, Sunport Takamatsu's Seafront Promenade, sits in an open location facing the Seto Inland Sea. Making full use of a setting where the sea and sky fill the view, the show will combine rolls, loops, spins, and other aerobatic maneuvers. Admission is free, and the show can be viewed from anywhere in the venue. Visitors are invited to look up at the sky, beer in hand, for a moment unique to this location.

Comment From Yoshihide Muroya

"It's been since 2019 that I've flown over the skies of Kagawa, and I'm really looking forward to it. I'd be happy if everyone at the venue could enjoy some beer and food while looking up at the sky. I'm looking forward to meeting many of you in the skies over Sunport Takamatsu."
