The products aren't particularly difficult to make. Kamakura Witch produces an average of 10,000 to 11,000 pieces daily—over 20,000 Kamakura biscuits in terms of individual cookies. Each piece receives hand-applied egg wash and almond topping before baking, with experienced staff skillfully sandwiching raisins like seasoned sushi chefs with elegant hand movements.

While machines are used, their role is mainly supportive—handcrafting remains central. Therefore, irregular shapes add machine-impossible warmth, hopefully conveying handmade warmth through sweets to customers.
