Kamogawa Sea World in Kamogawa City, Chiba Prefecture, will hold "Special Night with Orca," a special orca performance staged after the aquarium closes, on a total of 27 days in the second half of fiscal 2026, mainly on weekends in December, January, and February.
Sunset times change with the seasons. In Kamogawa, the sun sets at around 4:35 PM in December and around 5:24 PM in February, so the sky behind the stadium looks different in each month. Visitors can watch the orcas' dynamic jumps and energetic movements against these changing skies.
The official hotel, Kamogawa Sea World Hotel, will also sell a stay package that bundles a "Special Night with Orca" viewing ticket with an overnight stay. Hotel guests get free aquarium admission from check-in to check-out, so they can compare the show with the daytime performances or head straight back to their rooms to relax after the viewing.

A separate parking fee of ¥1,200 (tax included) is required.
How to Purchase Tickets
Sales start on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 9:00 AM.
- Official Online Ticket Service (December dates): A viewing-only ticket for "Special Night with Orca" is available on the official ticketing site.
- Official Hotel Special Package (December 2026, January and February 2027 dates): A plan bundling aquarium admission (during your stay), hotel accommodation, dinner and breakfast, and a "Special Night with Orca" viewing ticket is available via the hotel booking page. Note: the hotel package is the earliest purchase option for the January and February 2027 dates.

- During the performance, other exhibits, shops, and restaurants inside the aquarium will not be operating.
