Kamogawa Sea World in Chiba Prefecture is set to host "Special Night with Orca," a special orca performance held after the aquarium closes, on a total of 26 days during the first half of 2026 (primarily on weekends in April, June, and September).
The after-hours show gives visitors the chance to watch orcas leap dynamically and move with energy against the backdrop of the evening sky. Since sunset times vary by season — around 6:05 PM in April and 6:55 PM in June in the Kamogawa area — the sky's appearance changes with each performance date, making each event a unique experience.
A hotel package is also available at the official on-site hotel, Kamogawa Sea World Hotel, bundling the "Special Night with Orca" viewing ticket with an overnight stay. Guests staying at the hotel receive complimentary aquarium admission throughout their stay, making it easy to enjoy both daytime performances and the special evening show before heading back to relax in their rooms.

A separate parking fee of ¥1,200 (tax included) is required.
How to Purchase Tickets
Tickets for the April dates went on sale on March 9, 2026 at 5:00 PM.
- Official Online Ticket Service (April dates): Purchase orca viewing tickets on the official ticketing site.
- Official Hotel Special Package (April, June & September dates): A plan bundling aquarium admission (during your stay), hotel accommodations, breakfast and dinner, and a "Special Night with Orca" viewing ticket is available via the hotel booking page. Note: the hotel package is the earliest purchase option for June and September dates.
Important Notes
- This ticket is valid only for the after-hours "Special Night with Orca" performance.
- A separate admission ticket (such as a 1-Day Ticket) is required for daytime aquarium visits.
- Hotel guests receive complimentary aquarium admission during their stay, but a separate ticket is still required for the "Special Night with Orca" performance.
- During the performance, other exhibits, shops, and restaurants inside the aquarium will not be operating.
