A Luxurious Red and Black Afternoon Tea Invited by the Queen of Hearts
Kawagoe Prince Hotel (located at 1-22 Shintomi-cho, Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture; General Manager: Yasuharu Miyake) is located in Saitama Prefecture, which has been recognized as the only "Premium Strawberry Prefecture" in Japan for three consecutive years for producing the most delicious strawberries at the "National Strawberry Championship" hosted by the Japan Vegetable Sommelier Association (※1). The hotel will offer the "Amarin Strawberry Afternoon Tea Set - Queen of Hearts Tea Party" at the Lobby Lounge (1F) from March 11, 2026 (Wednesday) to May 6, 2026 (Wednesday, public holiday).
This is the second installment of the annually popular afternoon tea set featuring strawberries as the main attraction. This time, the set uses Saitama Prefecture's original strawberry "Amarin" (※2) and expresses the Queen of Hearts theme gorgeously through sweets and savories.
The upper tier features the "Heart Amarin Strawberry Parfait," shaped into a heart with deep red Amarin strawberries and layered with gentle sweetness of chocolate and panna cotta, as well as the rich "Queen Opera," decorated with playing card pattern chocolates that allow you to enjoy Amarin's abundant aroma. The middle tier includes Amarin strawberries and more. Additionally, the savory selection offers the "Amarin Strawberry Cream Tapas," where the rich sweetness of Amarin overlaps with the saltiness of cheese and prosciutto, and bite-sized "Cervelle de Canut Blini," finished refreshingly with cream cheese infused with herbs and lemon.

"Amarin" can only be cultivated by producers within Saitama Prefecture who have received production licenses from the prefecture's original brand cultivation perspective, and cannot be grown outside the prefecture or in home gardens.
