HARBOR CAFE, on the first floor of Kobe Marriott Hotel in Chuo Ward, Kobe, will begin serving two new parfaits on Sunday, November 1, 2026. Reservations for the new parfaits are already open.
The parfaits are designed to make the hotel's refined space easier to enjoy as a natural part of everyday life. Made with fresh fruit and homemade ice cream, with attention paid to texture, each one stays interesting to the last bite. The cafe is positioned as a place to step away from the hustle and bustle and drop in at the end of the day.
Parfaits Whose Flavor Changes with Special Sauces
Caramel Almond Parfait with Pear and Fig (洋ナシとイチジクのキャラメルアーモンドパフェ): ¥1,500 (tax and service charge included)

Pouring the special citrus sauce over the top adds a fresh acidity to the rich chocolate and nuts, changing the flavor.
Caramelized pear and fresh fig — The surface of the pear is caramelized until fragrant, which brings out its sweetness and aroma, and it is paired generously with fresh figs. The juicy sweetness and slight bitterness of the fruit spread through every bite.
Pastry chef's double ice cream — The parfait uses homemade almond ice cream made by simmering roasted almonds, along with a dark chocolate ice cream with a faint bitterness and depth. Together they deliver rich flavor and a creamy, smooth melt.
Crunchy textures and aromas to the end — The glass is layered with light, crunchy textures such as hazelnuts and royaltine. A refreshing apple jelly at the bottom keeps the aftertaste light.
Strawberry, Raspberry, and Mascarpone Parfait (いちごと木苺とマスカルポーネパフェ): ¥1,500 (tax and service charge included)

Guests add the final touch themselves. The moment the sauce flows down the parfait is beautiful enough that many will want to capture it on video.
Sweet-tart berries and rich mascarpone — The sharp acidity of fresh strawberries and raspberries (framboise) is gently wrapped in a milky, mellow sorbet made with mascarpone from Hokkaido.
Accents of rose and elderflower — The raspberry (framboise) sorbet and the jelly at the bottom of the glass carry the delicate aroma of rosehip and elderflower. The elegant fragrance that spreads with each bite is a presentation characteristic of a hotel lounge.
Three-dimensional look from chocolate — The top is decorated with Valrhona carré chocolate and glossy red chocolate, creating a contrast in texture with the smooth sorbet.
